Capsule: Elisha Xa was raised on Corellia, but relocated when her father took a job with Clyodyne System in the Corporate Sector. Housed on a corporate owned space station, Elisha found herself growing mad by the time she was 11. With no friends around and a father who she rarely saw, Elisha submerged herself into the only sport worth watching-swoop racing.
Several years passed and Elisha grew into an expert on the subject, demonstrating an uncanny knack for predicting winners. Soon she was placing side bets with some of the stations employees and accumulating a solid nest egg.

When her father learned of her activities, he was furious. He ordered her to stop, but Elisha saw no reason to, and instead moved in with a tech who she had recently gotten romantically involved with.
Her life seemed to be going nowhere, and Elisha was once again finding herself unhappy. It was during this period that she heard the rumor that her favorite Swoop Racer, a young man by the name of Chance Mulgrew had thrown an important race. Feeling betrayed by her hero, and seeing how he turned his back on the sport she loved, Elisha lost all respect for swoop racers.
