Developed on the planet of Vol Dess in the
Vol Kol system, the Grendel Corp's "Bandit-3" was
developed to deal with heavy-fire insertion
operations. The tank is big enough to hold 1-2
insertion teams, and armored well enough that it can
withstand quite a punch before taking any serious
damage.
This power, however comes with a price. The
speed of the vehicle is not overwhelming, and due to
some faulty computer programming, the weapons systems
have been known to go offline for a short period of
time. Grendel Corp. issued a new program to wipe out
the bugs, it has yet to be determined if this has
completely fixed the problem .
GM Notes:
If any of the players roll a "1" on the wild die when
firing a weapon on the Bandit-3, the weapon shuts down
for 2 rounds. A MODERATE Comp programming/repair roll
is needed to bring the system back online within ONE
round.
