The Netfali Arms "Annihilator" is a powerful and dangerous weapon, both to its victims and occasionally its user. Utilizing two energy cells, the pistol can deliver up to a maximum of 12 shots, each one doing severe damage. This is accomplished by pulling from both energy sources and emitting a concentrated burst of energy. This much killing power does have a price however, in that should either energy cell be inserted into the pistol at less than a full charge, malfunctions have been known to occur. These range from the pistol simply not working to the pistol exploding in the users hand. Netfali Arms had committed thousands of these pistols to customers before the glitch was noticed, and therefore issued a recall, but not before shipments were sent throughout the galaxy. Afterwards the line was discontinued, a 50% refund issued on all returned blasters.
GM NOTES:IF a player rolls a one(1) on the wild die while using the Annihilator, roll a six sided die and follow the below chart:
1= pistol explodes in players hand, doing 2d damage
2-3= pistol misfires, useless for rest of round
4=pistol fires but only does 2d damage to target
5=Energy cells overload and short out, gun rendered useless
6=pistol fires, does normal damage, but energy cells are depleted
